The four food groups used to consist of: Meat, Dairy, Whole Grains, and Vegetables. However, after recent years of clinical studies, these four food groups have evolved to a healthier diet of consumption. With studies that have revealed how certain foods contain harmful substances, scientists have gone the extra mile to test how the original four food groups have been affecting the human body. From years of testing, through scientific discoveries, a new wave of nutrition has been considered the evolutionary means of nutrition for the body.
